Forte Diesel Fuel Lube Due to environmental concerns the levels of sulphur in diesel fuels is being reduced to very low regulated levels. These reduced sulphur levels are aimed at reducing particulate matter and oxides of sulphur in the exhaust emissions and to facilitate the introduction of high efficiency particulate traps and catalytic converters in the exhaust systems of diesel engines.


However the previous high levels of sulphur in diesel fuel provided the lubricity needed to lubricate and prevent wear on critical fuel system components such as fuel pumps and distributors as well as injectors.


This lack of lubricity in the fuel is even more critical with modern technology high pressure common rail diesel engines which require high lubricity properties in the fuel to prevent wear of critical components and to help in maintaining cool operation of the fuel system.


The addition of Forte Diesel Fuel Lube will typically restore the lubricity of the diesel fuel to the level previously provided by diesel fuels with sulphur levels as high as 0,2% or 2000ppm.
Forte Diesel Fuel Lube is packed in a well-designed 150ml long neck bottle to make it more convenient to add the contents to the fuel tank. One bottle treats 50 to 60 litres.
